On the Seat: Most Rev. Timothy Freyer, Auxiliary Bishop, Diocese of Orange

The Most Rev. Timothy Freyer’s roots are in Southern California. He was born in L.A. and grew up in Huntington Beach, a short drive from Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove, where he will serve in his new role as Auxiliary Bishop. Bishop Freyer was ordained a priest on June 10, 1989 and his first assignment was as associate pastor at St. Hedwig Church in Los Alamitos. He was named Episcopal Vicar for Priests in 2012, with responsibility for the care and ongoing formation of the priests of the Diocese of Orange. On November 23, 2016 Pope Francis named Rev. Timothy Freyer as auxiliary bishop for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange. On January 17, 2017, Rev. Timothy Freyer was consecrated as a bishop.

  • All participants present at the LIVE Zoom event will have the opportunity to ask their questions live.

  • Gift Prizes will be awarded to five (5) randomly selected individuals who submit a question starting now until intermission of the event. Winners will be announced during intermission.

  • Zoom meeting room will be open 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.

  • There is limited capacity in Zoom meeting room. Once capacity is filled, you can view the live stream on YouTube. YouTube viewers can also submit questions until the end of the event.
